OUR CHAPTER |
We are the Alpha Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. We were founded on October 15th, 1885 at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
We were founded by seven women at a time where women fraternities were uncommon. These women wanted to create a community that was dedicated to service, friendship, and appreciation of the arts. Alpha Chi Omega was the sixth sorority in the country, and the first music sorority. Even though we do not have a music requirement anymore, we still encourage the appreciation of fine arts. |
